Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Ya, sure is. But I’m still very excited to get it home. I’ve already learned quite a bit about the car and how things work over the past 15 months or so by researching stuff, mostly on this forum! Much appreciated! I’m sure I’ll have questions once I get it home. I’m just wanting to take it for...

Gen 2 Garage - Turbo Hurricane in a Duster

Agreed. If they plan on using the Duster, that trans tunnel will have to be cutout and modified. I don't think there's a way around it. There's barely any room above the transmission with my 904. I couldn't imagine trying to fit that 8 speed in there with stock floors. Unless they can...

    Outboard question

Before I found my tilt/trim unit for my 90 Chrysler, I made a lever to tilt it. So much easier with it. Then. too, you'd be fairly stretched to reach the tilt lock.

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

Now to get the AC back up and running. It's HOT! I think I have my hose routing figured out, so I just need to order some fittings and hose to get it done. I'm planning on going to autocross on 6/23, so that gives me a week and half to get that done and also make my catch can bracket so I can...

Smith Bros. are my go-to brand Steve. BUT, I do have these in the back of a shelf, new not used, close look shows a form of crimp or weld on the ends of the rods. These things are maybe 15years old.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

That's what I'm thinking. I haven't been driving it enough to see it cycle up and down. I bought a used tank at local yard and I think I ended up using the sender that came with that. Not certain if it was an original, or aftermarket. It worked pretty well over the full range when installed.
