That's what I'm thinking. I haven't been driving it enough to see it cycle up and down. I bought a used tank at local yard and I think I ended up using the sender that came with that. Not certain if it was an original, or aftermarket. It worked pretty well over the full range when installed.

Mine is reading, but I don't think it's right. I did have a good line jumper on it when assembled anyway... I think the actual fuel level is getting low now, so should get at it soon in case I decide to drop the tank...

I did wires and anything else I could with dash out. And still ended up twisting around in there way too much.

If not, I would ask if they have a very well matched single or a decent pair of 'take offs' to put on till yours come in- at no charge....

We have a few road projects around like this. LOL Then there is one where they seem to be digging up random spots on one section of road and nobody is really sure what the project is.
