Made the mistake of ordering strut rod bushings from Auto Zone for 68 Barracuda 318 Car. They sent some import looking crap. Will take them back tomorrow. Does anybody make them in polyurethane? I know Moog makes them, but not all Moog stuf is great nowadays...

Here in north florida, our local big NHRA Track runs the local footbrakers against the box Cars in the finals now. Not at the Div 2 NHRA based bracket races, but at all specialty races put on by them. I make sure to avoid these races. Pairing box vs no box in the finals is a way for the track...

They make bad and they make good. If it is ABS plastic, it is good. Just bought one from company out of jacksonville, fl on eBay. Mine is for 68 Cuda, dunno if they make them for the early Cudas.

Get hold of the Mopar Performance Engine book and stick with the Direct Connection Cam specs. You can have a cam manufacturer, such as Bullet Cams make you an exact cam to their specs. There are other custom cam manufacturers out there besides Bullet. You will be thanking me for a long time...

This sounds like a fun build. You got the right idea with bigger tires and a 360. But lookout, a 360 is a whole lotta motor for these Cars to handle.

Well spoken. I remember the good ol days when shorty headers weren't invented yet. Funny how we all made the long tube headers work.

The good part is that IHRA will not purchase the track and sell it when real estate values go up, like PBIR. The Buyer for PBIR opted out after bad publicity, now the track sits as a wasteland. Owner sold off the stands and timing equipment. The Owner, IRG Sports really got burned screwing...

Naw. The Weld plugs are domed and strong. No glue required, they snap right in. It's almost like they made them specifically for this. Somebody on here's gotta have a few they can spare. :BangHead:

It's unfortunate that you're so turned off by headers. A set of long tube Hedmann Headers fit great and are a great price. And they last a long time. If you wanna go top notch, the long tube TTI step headers are TOO TRICK...
