the pictures above look like a standard 73-up disc brake set up so i'm wondering what you are talking about when you say its cobbled together... who have you been talking to? do they know what they are talking about? does your mechanic know what he is talking about? sounds like a bunch...

friend of mine used his road runner drum brakes on his scamp. need the spindle and drum assemble and the large ball joint upers if i remember correctly..

no idea. i was talking about the 73-up style disc brakes. someone should know though. can always contact doctor diff.

depending on the master cyl. (think i used one for something like a 85 diplomat) the alumn 2 bolt matster cyl is drilled shallower for the push rod. the adapter makes up for that. so you just use the stock disc push rod.

1.03 will not be harsh with good shocks. they will be firm but not harsh.. hell bergman autocraft a board sponsor sells 1.09 i think it is..

whats the plans for the car? if mostly for the street I'd go 1" bars minium.

have to drill the drums. big bolt brakes don't fit re-drilled small bolt alxles. better off just getting the right axles in my opinion.

i had trouble finding an alum master cyl that wasn't beat to hell at the tim that i needed it. i ended up calling RMS and just getting a wilwood one that looks just like the mopar one. been working great for over a decade.

certian master cyl do not need the new push rod. they are drilled shallower then the original master cyl. the adapter plate makes up for the difference so you can use the stock push rod.

i prefer large bolt pattern. change the front and rear over. at the very least i prefer the larger rear drums over the tiny small bolt stuff. i'm running 11" drums in the rear.. plus its easy to go to rear disc if you ever wanted.. not sure if there is a small bolt rear disc kit out there...

one is probably aftermarket.

if someone is worried about that then just bleed the brakes every spring and be done with it. i have been running dot 5 in our dart for close to 10 years now and haven't bled them or had any issues with them.

when i have this issue its usually the new leaver. i dig out the original leaver (if i have it) and use that. seems to fix the issue. it seems the new ones don't have the correct bends to them.
