Your carb and intake are your problems.
A holley 750 is too much carb on your 340. The torquer 340 intake is garbage at best. I picked up time replacing a torquer with a stock 340 cast iron intake. Your combo wont like a single plane intake either, get an airgap and a 650 and you will pick up...
I have the disc brakes from a 73 dart I want to swap on my 66. I'll use the upper and lower control arms and spindles but what about the tie rod ends? Do I use the 73 tie rod ends and adjusters or will the 66 ones work?
Would there be a problem using 73-76 A-body upper control arms and 78 dodge magnum brake spindles and rotors on a 66 dart ? I want to go large bolt pattern.
I got some perfect wheel well trim all 4 pieces) off a 65 Dart GT that I been using as garage art for a couple years now. Local guy wants to give me $50 for it. Personally I like it hanging on my wall but if its worth some bux I'll off it. Whats this stuff worth?
I taught my kid how to build them now she does the work for me. Hope she takes auto shop when she gets to high school. She has better eyes to read the mic's
Bad season, I worked too much.

They are out there, just got to surf for them. Shoot I just bought a package deal of 2 complete running 318's for $50. I just needed the timing chain covers for a 340 and 360 project. Tried to give them away and got no takers so I scrapped them and got $60.
