I had an annoying rattle in the dash of my '79 Chrysler Lebaron. Took the dash apart to put a real stereo in (this was the early '90's). I found a nice needle nose pliers stuck between two halves of the dash frame. It had to be there from the factory as it was pretty tough to remove.

You will still have a couple of holes that are visible when you remove the filler. I put little plugs in mine BEFORE painting the car . I simply drilled out the shocks and pushed the bumper back. I think a couple of self tapping screws secured it from there on

Find a 1973 to start with as they have the same rear end. The front clip will bolt right on and has the same bumper mounting points as well. The only hiccup is the side marker lights changed in 72.

Remember to check the gauge on your extinguishers on occasion as well. I just noticed one of mine was flat lined this weekend! As mentioned before, occasionally "fluff" your extinguishers too!
