    Mufflers like Dynomax

It's good, no drone at all. I do also have plenty of sound deadner, and I also coated the bottom side of the car with Lizard Skin before I painted it. But I also ran the same exhaust setup before I did all that and it was still no problem.

    This place is amazing!

I can't begin to put into words how much this forum has helped me with my build, and the friends I've made through it and met in person. There are still some more I'd like to meet in person. What a great wealth of information and fun!

    Benefit Auction for 67dart273

I got the vintage hat that I won and put it to good use on last Saturday at a sunny car show. My friend, Doc Halladay stopped by so I grabbed a photo with him and my fiancé, Stacy in front of my car. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on making this auction happen for a great cause!

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I changed up the graphic again on my air cleaner. I decided I like this version better, with the brighter colors and the vintage cuda art.

I made a customized graphic for my air cleaner. Printed on metallic 3M film so it has some sparkle.

    Fixing botched paint job?

Yellow can be tricky because of it's transparency characteristics. It takes a ton of material to get full coverage. It really helps to go with a white sealer coat or white color coat before moving on to the yellow.

Thinking of switching from M1 single plane to LD340 but LD340 would need to be milled to fit. Is it worth it?

Just following up to say that I ended up using the LD340 intake. I got everything back together and running good and then I installed a GearVendors Overdrive which I'm absolutely loving!

Thinking of switching from M1 single plane to LD340 but LD340 would need to be milled to fit. Is it worth it?

Here's a photo showing the pistons and pins I used. Really nice pieces. These got me to around 10.5:1 compression. I went with a Molnar crank and connecting rods.

    Fixing botched paint job?

You can still use clearcoat with single stage paints, also. It won't hurt anything. Be sure to sand down what you have now so it's smooth first. If you're doing it in a wet-on-wet situation, just be sure to use the same compatible clear coat system. If the paint you have on it now is cured...

[WANTED] Looking for one of these specific small block water pump pulleys

It might help, depend on all the measurements, once you have a chance to dig them out. I might just use a 1/4" crank pulley spacer to make the ones I have now all line up as an alternative. Thanks and good luck with recovery!

[WANTED] Looking for one of these specific small block water pump pulleys

Well, I made a mistake. The pulley that I'm looking for is the same as in the original photo that posted, but it needs to be 3" tall rather than the 2 3/4" that's shown in the photo. And it wouldn't hurt if the diameter is a little less than the 5 3/4" either, but the 5 3/4" would be fine as...

    Thank God for Chevy's

YUP, my 2005 Grand Cherokee (HEMI) needs a $10 blend door actuator for the heater control. Super easy to replace once I get around to pulling the entire dash out. I'm sure I'll replace the heater core too, while I'm in there.... someday. I wouldn't care about it but it makes a really loud...

Manifold Vacuum Advance what am I not getting?

You say you're having some brake issues... what kind of issues? if you have power brakes, are you sure there's not a vacuum leak to the brake booster? Because that could sure make a HUGE difference here. I also agree that you need a looser converter, which will also make another big difference...

Just Weighed My Barracuda Notchback For The First Time

Thanks. No mini tubs. or spring relocation, although I did shim the front spring perches back 7/16" in order to help center the wheels in the open a little better. I also have 3/8" spacers on the wheels to move them out from the springs. I also flipped the spring perches to lower it a little...

Just Weighed My Barracuda Notchback For The First Time

Thanks, Mike! You've seen it in many stages of progression and disarray, for sure! Along with my various cuts, scrapes, bruises and header burns on my arms from wrenching on it just to get it to the next show at Mopars In The Park. Blood, Sweat & Beers! Many, many beers. LOL

Just Weighed My Barracuda Notchback For The First Time

Yeah, I figure maybe I'll try to hit another scale somewhere, sometime, just to compare and make sure it's not 200lbs off or something. I'm not too worried about splittin' hairs though.

Just Weighed My Barracuda Notchback For The First Time

Thanks. The engine block, valve covers and MSD all have the same paint with gold pearl in it that I used on the car. It's held up extremely well. PPG paint and clear with epoxy primer.
