    Kelsey Hayes rotors

I'm with you on that! I'd rather be able to just get rotors at NAPA or O'Reilly's than have to fiddle with them to make them work. The taller spindles from F bodies help with alignment too.

[FOR SALE] Pair of 15x7 BBP Rallye wheels

Are there any screws in the wheels to hold the slicks, under the trim rings? Doesn't look like the backside has screws.

    Kelsey Hayes rotors

I just bought that setup at a swap meet, then changed my mind about using it because I stumbled on a 73 and up big bolt pattern A body setup. The only spacer I saw was the one behind the rear seal for the back bearing. The SSBC brakes are a bolt on kit for A body Mopars like your 72 Dart. They...

I hear they are good brakes. Just gotta know where the bits come from to be able to order correct replacement parts.

    Kelsey Hayes rotors

I sold a set of SSBC brakes that came as a kit a while back, and it had those rotors on it. They are Mustang rotors for like 67-68 or along there. Take a look at the caliper mounting brackets. If they are a piece of flat plate bolted to the spindle, that may be an SSBC conversion kit. If so...

[FOR SALE] Small Block Chrysler heads

Kim...I thought that too at first, but blow the pic up a bit and look at the sizes of the ports compared to regular old 318 ports. They've been worked a bunch, but maybe got coated down good with oil before storage. Just my guess.

Should it stay or should it go

With the black hood, it needs shiny trim and wheels. I'm old and still like chrome....lol.

Blank canvas, steel sided 40x60 pole barn. Thoughts on insulating, electrical, heating???

@Johnny Mac and @70dart340 Have you seen how to add an aftercooler to your air compressors? Look on You Tube and search "Quincy Aftercooler". There is a guy who has a wood shop, who got a Quincy compressor and added a Derale transmission cooler into the lines between the pump and tank. It is...

    What's this hole for?

Nope....just drill the one for the stud, and a smaller one for the screw. Be careful when you reach up into the door to start the nut on the stud. You'll be blindly feeling for the right spot, and if that little sliver that always hangs on when you drill a hole in sheet metal is point just...

    What "makes" a 66 Barracuda a Formula S ??

A story I heard from an old Plymouth Dealership salesman. In Spring of 1966, two salesmen were sitting in the Plymouth showroom drinking coffee. It was the middle of the month slow period....not many cars selling. They see a big snail coming across the lot, and Mr. Snail stops at a new...

    A-833 2.47 1st gear change to 3.09

Yeah, if I did the 3.09 first, I would be trying to set up just like what @go-fish is wanting to achieve. I have a 2.76 Sure Grip chunk and a 2.94 that I would rebuild into a Sure Grip. My plan is to try the 833OD with either 3.23's or 3.55's first and see how hard it zings it up running 70-ish...

    A-833 2.47 1st gear change to 3.09

Here's a question that might be relevant to the gear cluster swapping discussion. Do all of the ball & trunnion output A body 833's have the 3.09 first gear? If so, is it possible to swap those gears in and still retain a 30 spline slip yoke output? I've never had an 833 apart, but not afraid to...

Got a new Truck (new to me)

Looks like it's doing fine. If you're using the extra slow activator in the clear, it should be fine in that heat. It looks like it is matching up really well, painting it a panel or 2 at a time.

Sorry to hear that Mark. Our neighbor up the street from us in the permanent section of the campground passed after a fairly short battle with cancer. Kind and sweet lady. We're going to her funeral tomorrow. :(

    Trunk extension replacement

You're welcome. Get all of the stretched and torn metal back as close to where it belongs before you weld anything. If you don't have C clamps, vice grips will work just as well if you can get the seams close enough together. You'll be under the car, then in the trunk, under the car, back to the...

    Trunk extension replacement

The outer wheelhouse damage is going to be the hardest to fix. As far as the trunk extension, it isn't too bad. On the trunk extension, you may be able to use 3 or 4 C clamps to pinch the seam where it is welded to the trunk floor back together so you can weld that joint back. Scrape all the...

    65 Barracuda daily driver

I agree with you about swapping the heads. Now is as good a time as any to do it since you already have them. If you don't have some exhaust studs laying around, it might be a good idea to get some and install them a few days before you do the head swap. Having them out on the bench where you...
