i agree Rusty , the bolts are the bigger 7/16'' arp bolts that came with the plate . I have been running this setup for about 12 years now without problem . There must be a reason or maybe it's at the end of it's life .

Thanks i just checked , end play checked out fine . all four ears are broken off just inside the bolt holes .

Had a noise and it was a broken flex plate i have no idea why it broke and it was sfi approved . 904 with an 3600 stall ultimate converter hooked to a internally ballanced 418 stroker . What's everyone using ? i would like opinions why it would break it wasn't abused much and all the houseing...

with the axels and the sg pin out run a STRAIGHT bar in one side through the center and out the other tube then see how far off each tube is off , if your axels will go in or out easily it's probally good enough .

Don't even consider the 71/4 all that will so is cause damage to your trans when it ***** the bed .

I would GUESS if it's years and years old like you say that it's probally not a low band apply .

The old style GB needs the button out but the new style GB does not need the button out .

When it's locked up going down the highway there is no stall . A 2800 would not concern me not even a little bit .
