    Hood scoop to big?

Yes, that’s what I was asking. Is it too big? Is it going to hurt my performance is what I was getting at. If it does not make that much of a difference and I won’t have to be tuning my carburetor to get it to run right then I’ll run it.

    Hood scoop to big?

Yes that’s what I was getting at. So it won’t take away a measurable difference in seat. I will try to find instructions on the hood. I am putting in hood pins. Thanks everyone. I think I will remove the 1” spacer it’s pretty close if not up against hood now when fully shut. There is a witness...

    Hood scoop to big?

Beauty and fresh air. At 318 it was running cool.392 high compression hot. New large 340 radiator cooler nut not cool 195. Not sure of a small hole for pressure. Or a large hole for flow. I don’t want to worry about leaning out and higher speed. Does any of this really matter?

I got this huge hemi scoop. How do I determine hole size. Just cut it huge or close to the edge of cleaner? More forward or to rear?

That’s nice!!! Perfect thanks for photo I will try to duplicate. Answers my next question as to where to mount fuel pump. Where did you go though frame to cross under headers. I want to run next bay over just might have to drill a hole.

    Battery relocation - ground question

I’m relocating battery. I was going to run the new gound cable to the head where it’s connected now with battery up front, one going in back to frame from battery. Positive cable to starter, then to a terminal Block up front for accessories. Is that how it should be done?

    Transmission slipping

My transmission was working before I rebuilt motor. I added a lot more horsepower. I replaced the flex plate. I do not think it disengaged the torque converter from the pump by accident. I bolted on fine and bolted to flex plate fine. If converter got moved off the third drop in so to say would...
