I have used that SEM on old upholstry for deacdes with great results. One a hot Texas day with the windows rolled up, those seat will get HOT!!!!

I moved my '76 318 roadrunner other day, and forget about it, left running a good half hour. Temp still was at its usual 180 degrees. All OEM radiator, fan, shroud, stock engine, etc. Temp was 96 and heat index was bout 106. NO wind. Texas. Go figure.

I vote read post #5 again Then again. A few other comments followed that also matter. Back in the day these cars cooled just fine OEM and yes there are some other things that can help today, too. No reason a good 2 core is not totally adequate IF everything else is correct! Post #5!!

Can't say for sure but a Tx old car boneyard guy (extremely knowledgable) told me the 67 box works in the dusters. I had bought one for a 71 duster but it sold before I tried the box at all, so in other words I don't know!!

I realize I am old and "out of touch" with modern, but IF we could cool these cars with OEM parts decades ago then why is it people seem to think they need elecrtric fans now on these old cars??? I understand bore a motor out 60 thous, change cams, timing etc and that does make a difference...

The Volare had its original rad. cooled perfect did not leak, TILL I barely touched it with th handle of the socket wrench changing out grills!! THanks anyway but I got a new POS one from O Really

No the slants were either 18 or 22 I forget.

The volare in question, is a 318 26 inch radiator. I was saying last year I was able to find oem rad for my slants, 71 duster and 79 volare. I could not find a 26 rad. for the 76 volare anywhere in oem brass/copper, not even NAPA.

Not for the 76 F body. Ones for 22 small block also has different inlet/outlet size. I will call their rep to see if I am correct. I said 22 inch but I meant 26.
