    oiling timing chain

Here are some photos of how I installed the cooler and oil lines on my Barracuda. Do I need the cooler, maybe. I do believe my motor needs the oiling to the timing chain and the eccentric.

    oiling timing chain

I found two patrol cars in a Pick n Pull wrecking yard. Pulled everything including the fuel pumps and oil lines. As mentioned above, used one on Power Wagon. On the Barracuda, replaced the oem oil lines with braided lines and fabricated cooler mounts.

    oiling timing chain

I went a different route. Installed the E58 motor oil cooler assembly on the 372 in my Barracuda. It squirts oil directly on to the timing chain. Used the same setup on my ‘78 Power Wagon. Never had any backlash in the timing chain.

    Ford 9" in 1965 Barracuda...an option?

I am aware of the brake issue and that it can be updated with newer Cobra Mustang parts, as well as the pinion offset of this rear axle. But, what are you referring to in regards to "the rotation on the housing ends"? Thanks. .

    Ford 9" in 1965 Barracuda...an option?

I have 9” out a Lincoln Versailles. Fairly easy to install. I adapted e-brake cables and had a custom driveshaft built. 9” fords parts a lot cheaper and easier to find than 8.75. Due to the configuration of the ring and pinion you will need the proper gear oil from Currie. Why Run Conventional...

    HVLP?

I am picky about tools. I was once an ironworker and we never bought or used cheap or “Chinese” tools. Our fab shop typically used DeVilbiss guns such as the Starter Line models. They needed to spray a large amount of fab work and do it and be done with it. I was recommend visiting your local...

    1969 Barracuda door glass

That would work if the door glass was flat. I contacted a couple of glass shops I had cut custom glass for my VW Thing, and the issue was the radius or curvature of the glass. So I waited for 8 months for Classic Industries to fill my order. That does not mean that is not possible.

    1969 Barracuda door glass

I just went through tis with my'67 fb Barracuda. The side glass is tempered and harder than the windshield glass making it more difficult to polish. Know from spending hours on my side glass that found a new home at the landfill. It's worth the money to buy new, if it's available. I bought mine...

    GM 8 PIN HEI RELAY?

The voltage sensing is thru the ignition. The alternator is externally regulated by a pre 67 style solid state unit. The wiring for charging system has been upgraded to a larger gauge and has a fuse for protection. What you recommended previously sounds like the best idea to supply the ignition...

    GM 8 PIN HEI RELAY?

That makes sense. I have already bypassed the alternator bulkhead connections and went with a volt guage vs. an amp guage to save guard the wiring. Using a fused 5 pin Bosch relay will give me the ability to prevent overcharging from the 90 amp alternator and have constant power to the HEI...

    GM 8 PIN HEI RELAY?

Thanks for the replies. I am not very familiar with the gm 4-pin or 8-pin modules conversion. But, from what I have read it is reliable. Due to the fact that the conversion is based on easy to find and replace parts is why I am going this direction. Where I live on the Olympic peninsula auto...

    GM 8 PIN HEI RELAY?

I am going to ditch the MSD 6200 on my Barracuda for the GM 8 pin hei. @TrailBeast offered a kit at one time for this conversion. From what I have found on the internet about his conversion vs. the one on the Slant Six site is the relay. I already have the heavier gauge wires for the MSD box...
