I just did mine and went in from the door and got them started and then used a small pry bar and a box wrench that fit on them to pry them on. Did the same on the trunk ones too.

Thanks it is a slant 6 and automatic with column shift. I guess I need to start hunting which is hard to do in Campbell River.

I am new here and am restoring a 1965 Valiant custom 100 Convert. What do I need to change to Power steering? The car is totally dismantled so a good time to do this.
