You should vent the crankcase and eliminate the possibility of any pressure. Also, most valve covers will have a baffle (or plate across the opening) where the holes are in the valve covers. Since yours are cast, there may be a place to screw a plate. A small plate made of sheet metal will suffice.

I have bought them for $50 and up to $300. It just depends. Pics will help and of course knowing the demand.

You could 'reverse engineer' the tag to a certain extent. Such as, the paint code, stripes, exhaust tips, etc. But to be 100% accurate that's likely not going to work. You technically can't get one made either.

I usually don't even use sealer on the water pump bolts, but you can use the same teflon sealer as mentioned in your other thread. You can play it safe and use it on all the bolts for insurance, especially since there is oil present at some bolts and water at others

Any bolt or stud that is installed into a water jacket needs to be sealed. On your small block that would be the first and last bolt hole on each cylinder head.
