    Running without a thermostat ok?

Funny thing is, after reading through the rest of this thread, I go out to the garage last night around midnight to check my lower radiator hose to see if it has a spring. It does!!! But the hose is soft and needs replaced...so I go looking online for one and none of the ones I found have...

    Running without a thermostat ok?

I'll just say one thing. OK, two. 1. RustyRatRod has a TON of knowledge about our Mopars. And he enjoys helping other solve their problems with their cars. If he gives advice and the original poster asks the exact same question again, he feels (rightly so) that his advice is not...

    First time motor pull

I always pull motor and trans together and still don't have a plug or extra slip yoke for the transmission so I end up pulling the transmission pan and draining the oil before pulling the whole unit to avoid the mess. You'll have fun!!!

    First time motor pull

Yeah, what airwoofer said, lol. Also, If you're planning to rebuild the transmission, you may go ahead and drain the trans fluid before you pull the motor (same with the oil if you're planning to rebuild). It will be a lot less messy if you don't have a spare trans slip yoke.

    Slant 6 904 TorqueFlight question

Hooligan, I'm not real familiar with the push button trans, but the cable transmission works with the body, not with the engine. Think of it as a floor shift or column shift. You can remove and replace the engine without changing anything with the cable shift. The kickdown linkage is...
