Throttle linkage to Edelbrock 1906 on Magnum 5.9L Dart 67

I used the 2 barrel bracket and it works just fine. What it takes is to bend the bracket into a more upright position and change the angle of the flat where the cable clamp is. (a big Crecent wrench helps to bend it) But then I had to do what I always do and take it a step farther into "One off"...

LA pulleys not lining up with Magnum Balancer

Yep, normal for what you are doing. I ran across that exact issue and just egged that hole to line up. Never had any side affects from it, and couldn't imagine there would be. Really the only other choice is to leave out the bolt straight across from it for balance and I didn't want to do that.

    Magnum reseal questions?..

I adapted a 3 foot section of 1/4 tubing to my garden hose and put a 90 bend in the end for reaching into the block and rinsing it out. Worked great.

    LA valve covers

The guys are right. The LA covers work perfectly on the magnum, and I filled the non used holes in the LA gaskets with RTV as I put them on. This was before the motor went in the car 2 or so years ago.

Can I use the OEM Dakota fuel pump?

He can but might need that device that matches the fuel sender to the the gauge ohms. Meter Match I think it's called. They are high pressure pumps for EFI, and the Dakota pump should be the same as your 5.9 used in the first place.

Can I use the OEM Dakota fuel pump?

Never done exactly what you are asking, but there isn't a reason in the world that wouldn't work as long as the pump unit is submerged.

Ignition timing for stock cam/heads Magnum 5.9?

At 5,500 feet elevation and 9.1:1 compression ratio I run 18 degrees initial and 34 total all in by 2,500 RPMs. Vac can makes my grand total cruise timing right at 52 degrees. I normally run 87 fuel. This is a 5.9 stock short block, Engine Quest CH318B heads with 1.92 intake valves, 214/224 cam...

Which torque converter for 904 and 360 magnum

There are two kinds of balanced. One is a normal assembly balance that usually uses small thin plates of steel welded to the outer perimeter of the converter. The other is an engine balance weight that it usually about 1/4 inch thick and welded to the engine side of the converter. Those can be...

Which torque converter for 904 and 360 magnum

After slightly egging one of the converter bolt holes in the Magnum flex plate the stock neutral balanced converter that is for a 318/904 works perfect. This also means any standard high stall 318/904 converter will also. The 5.9 having more hp and torque will cause a little higher than...

Anyone CC'd the Combustion Chambers on EQ Magnum Heads

You are correct in thinking they were supposed to be 62cc even with Hughes 2.02 valve. I copied and pasted this right off their website. HUG 4676 MAGNUM EQ IRON HEADS W/ 2.02" INT VALVES MAGNUM STYLE INTAKE PATTERN ,62CC COMBUSTION CHAMBER W/ 2.02" INT, 1.6

Easy way to upgrade OBD I to OBD II

95 Dakota should be a hydraulic controlled trans, and if this is the case your suggestion is probably a good one. The electrical connector on the drivers side towards the rear of the trans main case will have three wires if it's a hydraulic controlled. If this is done there will have to be some...

    Spark plug tubes.

Took mine off as soon as the heads went on with zero issue's and that's been a year or so ago. I don't like peanut plugs either, so I use the standard 13/16 plug and a shaved down socket to get to them.

    What distriutor do i need?

I have run across some of those Proform distributors that the rotor phasing was so far off my HEI wouldn't make it to the right plugs at the right time. Honestly I think Hemi's are mostly a piece of jewelry and bragging rights engine, but fine if that's what a person wants. Getting Ready for the Magnum Swap. (help?)

No idea on the 1/4 but it's built to drive the hell out of and has freeway gears in it. Estimates during the build were around 350hp with my small dual plane and 600 carb. An Airgap and a 750 Holley is supposed to put it higher, but that's not what it was built to do. It was built with fuel...

Getting Ready for the Magnum Swap. (help?)

The kitted A500 with the Magnum motor is a hoot for sure, but one thing I found on the OE Magnum heads was that even though the cracks didn't cause any problems the valves and seats were absolutely trashed. I could see daylight between some of the valve faces and seats and this motor only had...
