I was thinking of going, but I have a relative staying over. He may have his own gig on Saturday, though, in which case I'll sneak out.

I shot some pix with my phone. I was only able to hang around for an hour. Sure were a lot of A-body convertibles, though. Bought some ramps at the swap. Click on the white type in the title below -- it's NOT a video. Slant Six Show 2013 - a set on Flickr

This was fun last year. I scored a couple parts. Won't have my car, but it's so close to my house I'll show up anyway.

Yeah. It isn't really a show, just a casual coffee get-together. There were about 20 cars last time I was there, but I got there late (I don't do early Sat AM as a rule). There was a Ford GT and a Cobra replica, as well as our two Barracudas.

Classic Cruisers, OSH parking lot at Jarvis Ave & Ardenwood Blvd, near Dino's Burgers. 4-7pm? Saw this in the Mopar Alley newsletter, haven't been there myself. This would be pretty close to my place, actually, except for crossing the Dumbarton eastbound on a Friday evening -- NOT. There has...

I'll be working at the show. Joined the Mopar Alley club last year. But my car is still at the shop. At this rate I'll be lucky to see it by August.

Joanna, who has been organizing the Pacific Coast Highway caravan from Monterey to LA for Spring Fling, is unable to do it this year. But there are probably a lot of folks who would be interested in caravaning. I'd volunteer to lead if I were going, but I'm carless right now. You can contact...

I used Ellsworth on two non-Mopars, for normal valve jobs. I would recommend them for that, but I don't know anything about custom performance work. The Mountain View place that helped me build my motor is long gone (Performance Technology).

Doesn't look like my Barracuda will be out of the shop. Gilbert just informed me that the trunk floor is backordered, and won't be in til May. :-( There is a small chance I will have access to another Mopar. And I may just hitch a ride and go "carless".

In March, there is usually a Shamrock Rally out of Dublin -- this is a fun run, on St. Patrick's Day weekend. Haven't seen an announcement yet, though. In April, The Snowball Rally and the Targa California -- these are both multi-day events requiring preregistration (now open). In May, there's...

Just to show you what I mean, here are photos from Sunday's run: Superdrive 2013 - a set on Flickr The only Mopar was a 60 Imperial Lebaron. But there were a lot of interesting rides, including a Shelby GT350 and a Trans Am in the muscle category. Again, this is NOT a video -- you have to...

He'd only done a little exploratory surgery last time we talked. Had to justify extra work to the insurance adjuster, then they came in and took a look, and cut another check. Now he's stripping it. So I don't expect it anytime soon.

Right -- Mopar Alley does the Fremont show. They are the biggest Bay Area club, mostly South Bay based. I've been going to that show for years. I just joined the club to stay on top of the other activities. The Xmas party is for members & families, really -- it's not a car show at all. Arf...
