i need your guys help.so my headlights,turn signals,brake,high beam,dome lights work but i got no tail lights.i checked my fuse box all the wires that lead to the headlight switch.and still nothing ,right when i put a new fuse in and i turn on my parking lights on the fuse blows out.i unplugged...

i have also done the conversion and now my points start to basically melt after 3 or 4 days. im guessing electronic ignition is a must once you have the super six set up. has anyone else have that problem??

how about a 66 tranny? i have the 66 motor and the tranny would i be able to swap both? instead of getting a special torque converter? is a 66 tranny compatible with a 72 drive shaft?

can someone help me ?i wanna know if a 66 170 slant six is compatible to a 72 904 transmission wich had a 225 slant...as far as the flywheel to the torque converter

when i turn my ignition switch on my temperature gauge disappears to the cold side and my fuel gauge goes to full. and when its off the temperature goes to hot and the gasoline goes to empty..if my gauges were truly fried would they even move like they do?

so my gasoline and temperature gauges went out.does anyone know what to check for? i checked the instrument fuse already and replaced it but it didnt help.i noticed theres this condenser looking thing in the back of the gauge cluster right under the temperature gauge. could the problem be that?

im gonna put on an exhaust manifold that i got off of a 73 duster 225 onto a 170 i was wondering is it really nececesarry to spray the gaskets with that copper spray-a-gasket sealant?

yea the ignition switch or how ever its called lol. where u put the key in. ill put my key in and turn it so its at the accessories position. but the needle on the gauges wont even go up and my lights dont work either. so im in the process under the dash looking for any fried wires. havent seen...

so the other day i go to start my car. i turn the key and nothing the starter didnt even go off. so i thought it might of been the ignition switch..as i go to pull it out my car starts trying to turn on(without the key in) and i start seeing and smelling smoke coming out under the dash/gauge...

alright so i pulled out an exhaust manifold from a 73 duster 225. i have a 170 in my 66 valiant. i wanted to know if it will fit? the exhaust manifold from the duster has the choke like a C.and the choke from the 170 its like a full circle. can someone please help me out with some info!!
