It's a 2006 Pontiac g6. Driven everday. Can see the stuff in filler neck where was poured in it.

I wouldn't think diesel would glue the valves though. This stuff is really sticky in the motor. You can see where it was poured into the filler neck. It's getting sent to the lab. So we will see. Thanks for the input.

Gas

Have a car at work. Valve stuck. Bent push rod. Valves are sticky. Can lay hand on stems and they will stick to you. Here's a pic of fuel sample taken less than 5 min after put in jar.

Congrats on the run. My pump gas 408 ran a 11.11 first pass in car. So I know u have a lot of potential there. Keep on it.

That would be crazy. Lol DuPont said just the chameleon effect was going to be $4600 for it. Plus u have to paint the car black and then there's the clear. Estimate was scary at $7600. Couldn't imagine a jet. Wow.

Doing a complete repaint with a solid green like the b body above. Trying to figure out the color of it. Going away from the chameleon. Cost to much to fix. Will be cheaper and easier to just go with a single solid color.

My dad just removed the off white interior trim from moms 73 duster and replaced it with all black. He was just talking other day needing to sell the stuff.

They bid it at $2275 to blend it. The scratches cover 1/3 the roof. And also has some on pass door and fender. Says they "think" can be blended. But will work with Bodyshop. It's hagerty insurance. I hope they wouldn't total it. I just put the new 408 in it this last spring. Have some cash in it...

My duster took some pipe to the roof fender and door. It's painted in a chameleon color that changes colors. How hard is this to blend and get to match? Insurance is wanting to blend. 2 body shops says gonna be hard to get to match. Suggestions. Go!!

I just put a 408 together. Got my heads through MRL performance. They are a member here. Got the pro comp Cnc ported heads. 2.08-1.6 valves. He put better guides and springs in them for my roller cam. They fit and worked nicely have good flow #'s also.

I just ordered a new one through Chrysler Dallas. Was like $220 Figured be cheaper than shipping yours and maybe not fitting. Thanks a bunch though. I do need some 8.75 shock plates though. If you have any?

Thanks 345. I have super stock springs in mine. Thinking about taking the mono leafs and slide a links out of the dart and put in the duster maybe.

Pretty sure has to have whole rotating assembly to balance the flywheel correctly. As I have a 318 flywheel and I was wanting it balanced for a external 360. Will be cheaper to just buy a 360 flywheel.

What jet size are you running. I have 81 in front barrel and 88 in tears on a 950hp. Seems to like a big carb that's for sure. My 750 wouldn't feed enough. 950 really woke it up

I have that cam in my 408. Running pro comp Cnc heads. With 2.08-1.60 valves. Scat internal balanced forged rotating kit. Ran 11.11 at 120 mph on pump gas with a traction problem. Car weighed 3250 lbs. So u should be real happy with that motor. I ran a Holley 950 hp. 81-88 jets with a 6.5 high...
