Looking at getting a set of eaton leaf springs with a 1" or 2" lift for 66 Barracuda. What rear shocks would you recommend running that are a little bit longer than stock replacement length? Also would you opt for heavy duty leafs? Thanks J

Have a 66 barracuda with a 360 motor and a 904 transmission. Transmission wont stay in manually selected 1st gear. Always shifts to 2nd. Shifter won't "click" into first when pulled down to the low slot. Is this something a shift kit would fix or do you think the stock console isn't allowing...
