    John Deere Blitz Black

I first shot bc//cc on a project back about 1990. I have used single stage acrylic urethane 99% of the time since. Other day I called some PPG store to price a certain color. They will ask for my "number" and I just say I am an individual not a shop but you better give me the shop price/...

    Boogered door/fender edges repair?

Back in Mo. I started to see big boneyards get crushed, usually the owner just retired or died off in the 90s. By 2000 it was really getting bad. Now, it is a lost cause! Old cars, Mopars were so much fun when you found them around when looking, or even ads in the KC Sunday paper, and just...

    Boogered door/fender edges repair?

I decided on getting a different Comet 64 post car. I like them better than that 66. I agree, I could have either straightened them and/or did some welding patches and make new edges. A few decade ago, we just got different doors/fenders out of the boneyard!!!!!

    Boogered door/fender edges repair?

My HS car decades ago was a 64 Ford Custom (2 door post) 289 and three on tree. Pretty heavy for that SB! After 4 decades building Mopar, I like the learning curve of something new. Besides decent Mopar projects are getting scarce!! What isn't!?

    Boogered door/fender edges repair?

I admit I never have had to deal with this, only maybe just a minor booger. I occsionally venture off into the dark side, in this case I have always wanted a 64 or 5 Merc Comet. 64 is one year model. Sheetmetal is not plentiful. You know the drill, look for a cheap project!! It will be a...

Any experience with Eastwood's Optiflow roll-on primer??

Like mentioned, over spray gets on everything unless you prepare. Trying to spray any topcoat without a steady and adequate amout of air is a challenge. Can it be done and with better results that a brush? yes. Can you do it? Dunno. Auto paintless/primers and yes even the filler dust...

Pitted roof from rust under vinyl top repair

I like the fiberglass reinforced filler as it is wtaerproof and adds strength. A ***** and nasty to dry to sand any at all. Ya I agree it needs a new roof but many guys are not able to do such.

Pitted roof from rust under vinyl top repair

Phosphoric acid which Ospho is a diluted version. Soak in decent temps several times, scuff with scotch brite, and rince good with plenty of water. Neutralize!!!!!the acid!!!!! Some will say add baking soda. Remember most epoxy primers can react to OSPHO if not neutralized and it can react...
