Solved with a Meter Match Fuel Tank Sending Unit/Fuel Float Adjustmet

This is a bit late, but I used Dan to rebuild a sender on a customer's pontiac earlier this year and had a great experience. He was very nice, knowledgeable and the sender was repaired and returned quickly... and it even worked!

    Too much voltage to headlights?

Any progress on this? I just changed the headlamps on my 70 dart for the 3rd time since installing a relay harness. When it happens both low beams go out at the same time. Charge voltage is good, a bit low at idle but mid 14's at cruising speed. Whats the absolute max voltage these sealed...

    LED headlights?

Not 100% accurate....I am a licensed Virginia state safety inspector, LED bulbs are only illegal when installed in a halogen housing(like most shmucks do when buying bulbs at pep boys). If you swap the entire lamp over to a DOT certified LED unit you're good to go. This is in Virginia, cannot...

90's Durango - Mechanic told friend to scrap

Timing belt, HAHAHAHAHA..... depending on mileage and condition of the vehicle sometimes its not worth the repair. However I have a soft spot for those AN body Durango's and would definitely get it back running. Sounds like his "mechanic" buddy didn't want to take the time to look at it. I'm...

[FOR SALE] Bouchillon throttle and kickdown setup

...I haven't been happy with this kit since day 1, just never liked it but it does work and the kickdown cable is pretty nice. Very easy adjustment. **the throttle cable end came off the cable shortly after I got it, bouchillon claimed not their fault and wouldn't replace it. I crimped a new...

    1972 Demon 4 speed

No offense but sounds like more than 10% fall into that "not so good" category .... as a current certified mechanic I can tell you it's hard to tell what driveline noise is normal while under no load. I've ran enough cars in the air to say most seem "sloppy" and sound like they're gonna fall...

    Door handles ... again

I took all of the guts out of the new handle, put it on the door and it's still not right. I'll put it on up to the door today with no gaskets and see if I'm able to see what's preventing it from fitting right. If I can see something obvious I might just file off some material instead of...

    Door handles ... again

I considered that but something's tweaked in my passenger handle, it won't push the rod all the way down to open the latch. Can't see anything physically wrong with it, new one works perfect

    Door handles ... again

Oh yeah, it's only 2 nuts ! These are nice, I'd like to keep them but I don't like the gap. Both doors too. Put the factory ones back up to the door and they fit flush.
