Don't have a number in mind honestly, just want it to hold together ! This all stems from a guy near me with a 327/4spd 55 Chevy. He drives the **** out of his car, shifts at 8k everytime he drives it. Sounds amazing!

Had almost the same problem with a 383 I built. Oil dripping from the rear pan bolts and off the bottom of bellhousing. No oil inside bellhousing... removed and sealed oil pan 3 times and was still leaking. Finally put UV dye in the oil and found it coming from the rear main seal. Could see...

What about metro soft seal ? I haven't had any issues with their stuff. I use them on both my 68 coronet and my 70 dart. You can go on their website and get the part numbers then check Amazon, I saved a bunch doing that.
