    Header Bolts ???

I believe the back bolts are wet. If it's an LA motor with LA heads. I switched over to Magnum heads and have not had them leak water when changing header gaskets, so I'm not sure if the magnum heads are wet, but I know that the LA heads were.

    Melted B&M Shift Cable

I just did exactly what you did with my 3rd cable, got one a foot or two shorter. It made a really tight curve, but seems to shift fine. So far so good. If it doesn't work, I'll be turnin to something else. Just not sure what yet. I"ll have to bookmark this thread with all of the suggestions...

    Anyone run a Street Avenger?

I just went through some very similar issues with a 750 Demon with mechanical secondaries. My setup is a bit more removed from stock than yours is, but not too much. A 360 with magnum heads, performer air gap, .525 int and exhaust (231/237 @.050) and 3000 stall. Could not for the life of me...

Also, It may make a difference as to what adapter you are using. I don't know about the aluminum one. And i'm not sure why it's not in the gasket kit. My kit came with a new bolt, the large gasket, and then the two small ones, one for each end of the bolt.

90 Deg Oil Filter Adapter Torque Spec?

Mine had the gasket for the adapter to the block, and then two others; a thin metal gasket that went underneath the bolt head and one that went on the other end of the bolt (between the block and the center of the adapter). This last one was a thicker, clear/white plastic washer (not hard...

90 Deg Oil Filter Adapter Torque Spec?

The paperwork that came with my new bolt and gasket set said 50 ft/lbs. After I torqued it, though, a lot of people told me to be careful, as the bolts are easy to break. everyone also said they don't need to be any tighter than you would tighten your oil filter. Luckily, mine didn't break, and...

Are you sure the vibration is with the motor? Do you still notice the vibration at low rpm when the car is sitting? or only when driving? If it's only when driving, you may be looking at something else, tranny?
