Late to the party....comparing the 2 videos, 5k launch (in slow mo) is crushing the tire and making it unload the chassis, where as your 3500 launch is not. I can't see doing internal balancing with a cast crank...just doesn't seem cost effective. For what its worth, my Scat forged crank, forged Icon flat tops & Scat I-beams did not need any heavy metal for balancing.

My current motor has the pistons 5 thousands out of the hole, and I use the Felpro 1008....its snug (57cc Edelbrock heads), but everything seems to work OK. PV is also quite close, but works. Motor has been running for almost 2 years....so far, so good.
