Haven't posted any updates for a while... This was about a week in since the last post.

I figured no way I'm doing my vinyl top. $700 seems very high, especially if you are supplying the top material. Are headliners really that bad? I've been back and forth. Once I took mine out (71 Scamp with bow-type headliner) I figured it couldn't be that bad??

Adding my original setup for reference: '71 Scamp (111" WB) 318/904/7.25 driveshaft length at c-to-c of u-joints - 54 1/4"

Will the conical washers and nuts from 7.25 shock plates fit 8.75 shock plates? Are they the same? If not, where can I get 4 washers and 2 nuts for 8.75 shock plates? Thanks!

72 Dart patch piece (included with fenders):

Came off a 71 Scamp. Driver side is not pretty, badly rusted at the inside fender lip but comes with a patch piece from a 72 Dart, and has rust and filler in lower rear area behind the wheel opening. Passenger side much better shape, just a little filler in the lower rear area behind the wheel...

Driver side molding only, but comes with 12 clips. I mainly bought for the clips for a Scamp, but they are different so wouldn't work for me. See photos for condition, I took close ups of the worst flaws I saw. Needs cleaned up and would be ok for driver. $30 plus shipping for all.

I bought this a while back thinking it was the same for Scamp. Obviously it is not. Pretty solid but looks like it has had a little bit of filler in the one lower corner? (See close up photos.) Also bottom mounting flanges are bent up but solid enough to flatten back out. AMD charges $149.99 for...

Interested. I have the 67-72 mount, but is there a good reason to go to the 73-up spool version? I know for engine mounts this is the case, but not sure about the trans.

Thanks all. Mine does have a sloppy undercoating or black paint on the lower radiator support, but that's about it.

And then I find this thread that probably pretty much answers "where" they get painted. I think I'll have them do the entire front inside, headlight areas and hood latch too. Just the front side of the radiator support? Core support "Blackout"

Unrelated to his particular question, but his photo shows the drip edge which I have a question. The drip edge trim...is it any different between vinyl top cars vs non-vinyl top cars? I was told yes, because the vinyl top is also enclosed, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

better photos showing that it's just the frame rail, NOT the floor piece that's bent up. passenger side (not too bad), then driver side (bent and torn up).

Attached is a photo of mine next to another a body (not sure of model). I don't understand which models are like mine, guessing the longer wheelbase Darts and Scamps where it has the floor board and transition piece set up like mine, and the other photo it's different where it overlaps. ???

You're welcome. These photos are of a 71 Scamp by the way. Here's a couple more that I found where it shows how those clips go on to hold the headliner edge. I pried it back some and took a photo while it was still together, then removed the clip in the 2nd photo. And to the original poster...
