You guys should've come to the Blarney Stone Friday and/or Saturday. The bar has been closed since the Covid shutdown, but the owners allowed us (the Twisted Axle Car Club) to use their parking lot.
The Dart GT hanging with the "Big Boys". Getting our directions clear for the trip to Port Huron (Michigan) for the 2021 Mainstreet Memories Wheels on the Waterfront show.
Wow, that brings back some memories. I had an '89 S10 2WD standard cab truck with the 4.3L, auto, with a 3.42 posi. That truck was quick. It would bark the tires on the 1-2 upshift. It surprised a lot of other cars at the stop light drag races.
I work with Richard H. He joined us (TACC) for the 2019 Woodward Dream Cruise. Love the trailer hitch story! The other Superbird is a clone a friend built 20+ years ago.
I had @challengergary make some stickers/decals for my twin scoops. They are the same size as the 340 emblems. However, I have not yet installed them. Still on the fence.
I have a YouTube channel with some videos (GoPro & IPhone) from a lot of our club outings.

Love it!
My parents had a '67 Polara, 2-door, gold, black interior, 383, auto that they used to pull our travel trailer. I loved that car. Unfortunately, it was long gone by the time I was old enough to drive.

This is what I started with:
I removed the compressor:
Then I cut down the brackets (a 2nd set purchased from Ebay):
Then realized the front bracket could be replaced with a small block chevy adjustable...
I purchased 1 small bolt pattern 14" X 5 1/2" Rallye for $100, from a local FABO member, to use for a spare tire. He didn't want to break up his set of 4, but I only needed 1, so I paid his price. A 14" X 5 1/2" STEEL wheel would NOT clear my SSBC front disc brakes.
I agree with using a smaller hole saw when using the DMT seals. I used a 4 1/8" hole saw but could have gone smaller. I would suggest some "practice holes" on some scrap material.
Also, I created my own templates using the (aftermarket) scoops I purchased (from Mopars by Crane (now out of...
My mother had a red 1963 Dodge Dart, but I don't know how old I would've been to remember that (I was born in 1960). Through the years, most of my family members were Mopar owners. Mt stepfather came into our lives when I was 9 and he was a Chevy guy that was eventually converted to Mopar...
