And i better go check owners parts pile to see what he has. In the meantime, 37 chevy to rewire and get Studebaker...

Nope, hydronic. And im shocked to see a wheel cyl plugged. Cant get fluid through it. Time to load the parts cannon.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Cant seem to build any pressure or get any fluid to the wheel cyls. This is taking way too long. And the “manual” is kind of useless.

Git Firebird dropped off, first guy i encountered that is happy that he doesent have to do any rust repair. Then cut some grass, dog run area first. Now she wont be soaked to her knees? Elbows? Every morning. We gettibg heavy dew if it doesent rain. Then sat on tractor mower for a couple hours.

I have a pedal holder i made for doing alignments, works good for holding pedal. Had to troll through 3,000 ish photos to find it. 3/8” rod with a slightly larger hole in flat bar. Push rod to depress pedal, slide bar up to seat and it holds pedal down. Lots of walking. No waiting for helper.

Started fiddling wuth fuel line. Didnt want to run it inside the passenger compartment. Going to do it against my better judgement. Its that or under the car. Nope. 37 chevy showed up. Its pretty much a dragster. Will be racking up some hours on that one. Total rewire, and hasnt run in 2 years...

In the shop now. First thing is fish the gas line through the tunnel. Then see if fuel pump works. I pulled carb and went through it last year. Then give it a good warm up.

80 power wagon onto an 02. Screen shot the earlier comment and sent it to my son. He’s officially excited. Cummins chassis has no body, and he had it running. So im picking cab off the power wagon and fixing the body then placing it on the CTD chassis. We may use a long box to save time...

So, s10 2.2 develops a rattle at idle when hot. Its the common timing chain tensioner. My local supplier doesent stock the chain kit or gaskets. Rock otto is 1/2 the money so thats what my plan is next. And a new muffler.

I think he got a painless kit. I have a couple kits here i found on Amazon. There are decent ones and crap. Crap is like a dash harness, gooder ones are generous with the wire, from headlight to taillight.

Yup. Hate the pedal arrangement. For some reason the cruise works now. Sluggish to engage. Thinking the servo is sticky from lack of use. Did some driving around, lots of traffic here this weekend. Fair, fireworks parade and car show. Also live entertainment.
