Lets hear your suggestions for a winch for a car trailer.

I have always used a hand crank boat type winch! But now, I am so old and woreout, if I buy the guys car, he always takes pity on me and does the winching!! Especially if I grab my chest and ask what a heart attack feels like> :poke:

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Maybe they will. like my wife, but just this week after all the time I've put into my car over the last year my nephew comes over and tells me this, you're never going to finish your car. He's 9 so I didn't beat him up lol but I will remember that on his 18th birthday

    15x8 w/ 4.5” BS on front/good handling size?

You’ll be hunting forever. They didn’t make one. 4 7/8 back space was the most on an 8.5 Centerline. These will have your tire within a millimeter or two of touching the springs.. It’s the tire bulge or section width that you need to worry about.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

This is my friend Jakes. He passed away a short while back. The auction was last Saturday with the sexy wagon and 37 Plymouth truck. His daughter was saying that she wasn't selling this. So sad

Here you go, Piston area and force.

Correct, which buddy doesn't get. Not necessarily talking overboring, generally like how mopar mainly changes displacement by bore. But what this is really about say a 318 bored and stroked 390 and just overbore a 383 to 390, the general wisdom would be the 318/390 4" would produce more...

You will love those SPC UCA's! Hopefully you got them from Peter Bergman. I put them on my avatar, dialed in 3+ degrees of caster, and have a car that now leaves straight and goes straight. Only you can decide what lift amount you want to use to set the toe at. The MP book goes through that...

[WANTED] Looking for a '71 to '73 Duster.

I don't think she'll say much, we've always kept our money separate and it has worked out well. If she does say anything, I will point out how we never did a cost/benefit analysis on the pile of decorative rocks... ROCKS!!!.... on the front porch, or the excessive number of MacKenzie Childs...

Cranks but won't start. Unplug ground at field spade on Alternator and it starts?

Starters draw down the battery voltage during cranking to about 8 volts. The points ignition systems were designed to function on about 8 volts, so that during cranking you had full spark. That is why Mopar vehicles are famous for their ballast resistor. The run position of the ignition switch...

    Upper control arm advice

I have been running OEM control arms since rebuilding all of the stock front end stuff 10 years ago. This is a car that goes wheels up every pass. I'm wondering if I should go aftermarket on control arms at least, but which ones to get? QA1 looks good but not adjustable. Adjustable ones...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Door panels off, cleaning out and rinsing out seams. Re-seal seams and lower inside door pan, with catylized paint products. Preserve for the future. Such a clean body, want to keep it that way. A real pleasure to work with. Ounce of prevention, worth a pound of cure. ☆☆☆☆☆

    8 3/4” question

Just follow up on this, I messaged Cass, Doctor Diff, he confirmed I would have to swap the thrust block for the newer style, however for convenience I just swapped the entire carrier rather than dissembling both carriers. Thanks for everyone’s input
