    they were in the mid 7's (without spray if I recall correctly) when I saw the car 2 years ago. Channel was called "James and James" back then.

    when a torque converter is advertised as a "3200 stahl" (or any other rpm range they pick), that is in a certain situation with a certain engine. So if somebody says "3200 stahl" and that is behind a 440 making 500 ft lbs of torque, your 340 might only see 2500 rpm's of stahl out of that same...

    Are you actually getting 3200 rpm's of stahl? I might think not, and then the single plain intake with that .284/484 cam (I think that's what it is) it was a little lazy till it hit a "point" in the rpm band.

    Mine have the LA bolt pattern. After I took mine apart and saw the crud, after I cleaned them up I took them to my machinist and had him inspect the valve guide tolerances, and he vacuum tested each valve, checked spring heights and such. They were actually a decent head if they would have...

    minimum wage was 3.35, but i got paid 3.65 mowing Cemetaries. I also upkept the equipment. It was my first job that was an actual paycheck with taxes taken out. :D

    Hughes HUG1110P valve springs- anyone use them?

    I've used the HUG1110 over .500. No issues. I also used their retainers and locks (HUG 1199 kit). I have them on magnum heads
