Well, decided to send to shop, so i finished up installing headpipes, didnt have to modify anything linkage wise on drivers side. Ordered up Walker 33226 lapjoint bandclamps and installed Summit mufflers directly to headpipes. I'll wire/strap the mufflers to the seat bolts for support and that...

The 68 / 69 air breather is available through the reproduction market where as the 70 / 71 is not and as a result big difference in price.

I'll throw this out there for what it's worth. I believe the 30 LBFT is for the plugs with washers, so the washer gets crushed. Once you remove the washer, I don't believe I'd go down 30. I've never in my life torqued a plug down and never had issues.

It's interesting that it was delivered in September of 1965. I wonder when it was built. That's after the 1966 models were out. One of my '66's has a build date of August 17th 1965. Being specially built for a Chrysler executive, anything is possible.

Something is up. I have not once ever pulled a broken NGK out that didn’t get hit. Especially 3, and I don’t think it is the plug socket either. Not unless they are literally getting thrown down the hole. :D
