Rough idle turned to crank then ka-thunk

Have you DONE anything to it immediately previous? EG the dist looks might clean is it new? Did you change the timing? If you have not moved the timing I would attempt to check it. Sometimes you can pull the coil wire and leave it "lying" near the top tower so it has to jump...

Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

We used IGA grocery bags taped to the inside of quarter panels when I was a kid to apply Bondo to. Then use the garden hose to wet them for remove. The repair job lasted long enough to move the car on down the line. Tom

Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

Hey...I've seen idiots heat coil springs to lower cars that had them. I once heated the front edge of the leaf springs in my Camaro to lower it....and one snapped a few months later. Anyone with an understanding of metal should know what is safe and what isn't. I'm not against pushing the...

    A-Body Round #2- My '76 Scamp restore...

Put 730 miles on this weekend. I'd say that's a pretty good test drive and it ran perfect! Fan cycled on and off probably 20 times on the trip and blew the 30A fuse once. I replaced it with a 40A and will see if it works OK with that as time goes on. My son and I pretty much decided that one...

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

when you say 3-4 degrees of advance is that from the lobe separation of. 108 or the recommended icl of 105. i know icl and lobe sep have no relation because one is the distance between the two cam lobe centerlines and one is just the position of the intake centerline but i want to clear some...

People also use chicken wire and newspaper as backing for inch thick Bondo too.

Friend’s motorhome caught fire on the way home from keystone

Those big rear engine diesel motorhomes build a lot of heat. Add towing a big trailer, 90 degree temperature plus humidity, and I’m pretty sure it happened climbing a hill. This is probably my 4-5 friend that this has happened to. My one buddy from Ohio lost his car trailer too.
