Any guesses as to what engine this intake fits?

the square port was the giveaway. i knew i had seen that combo before but i couldn't remember where exactly. looking at the other mod motor pics jogged my memory of doing an intake on a cobra a million moons ago.

Here you go, Piston area and force.

Well from what I can find and kind of expected, that engines psi is based on volume not surface area, since engines of same displacement and cr have same volumes no matter there bore stroke ratios. Ideal gas law is P = nRT / V The Main ones that concern this discussion are Pressure =...

4.6 ford modular 4V "B" head lower that's been modified (96~98 SVT & mark VIII)

Here you go, Piston area and force.

...smaller piston, longer stroke engine of same displacement on average for similar level of efficiency. Then there's really nothing more to discuss. *Edit, And this (below) explains that so unless you can prove below has no bearing on what were discussing think were done. Ideal gas law is P =...

Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

I sold three over the last 10 years, the last one was 3-4 years ago. I got $125 for a nice one. Not everyone that sells parts is a greedy prick. Some just want to make a little money and move onto the next thing.

How important is 1psi of fuel pressure?

Tim, Are you saying in post #29 that the higher pressure [ nozzle fitted ] would fill a container quicker than the open hose would?

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

Generally, if the cam is too big for the intended use, advancing the cam can claw back some lost low end which is the usual result of the 'bigger is better' syndrome. The other extreme, the cam is too small, retarding it can give a little more top end, 'little' being the operative word. Dozens...

Here you go, Piston area and force.

Now you are mixing entities. I am not disputing more [ or less ] tq from the engine families you just listed. There is more than just piston size & stroke that determine the actual TQ/HP an engine produces. Efficiency of the ports, induction & exh systems, friction etc will all affect the tq...
