hello, 72 360,.. decked with unmiled 70-72 cc heads.. .039 head gasket.. not sure of the deck height.. any way i want to use stock style hyd rockers with shafts.. since my deck is decked id like to check the PR legnth.
i set number 1 cly TDC, rotor pointing to no 1 cly...anyway i adj the rod...

wanting to add an A500 OD, a magnum 318 w/efi,a/c, pwr steering,pwr brakes and 20+ MPG, or maybe a 4.7 and trans from a dakota.
hi i am workng on a grand am, here is the problem, when in park and ideling the doors will click like its being locked then the horn will go beep, just so lightly..then it will do it all over again.. i have never heard of this problem before.. anyone else have anyidea what it is?

opps sorry i didnt post my update.. the rockers are in the trash, I bought them back in 01-03 at monster mopar here in St Louis, I do not remember the brand as they were open and unused for display, bought them at a vender that had them out for comparison with another brand..
anyway we talked...
with the old dist i had about 16-20.. but it needs recurved and a vac unit installed, thats when i called this guy and he told me its my intake.. So now i have a MSD E-curve dist on the way.. I am not sure what i should actully set my timing at.. if anyone knows let me know or how i can set it...

I called a company to recurve the MP dist for my stroker, and after I gave him the specs they asked " how does it idle" I said kinda rough, I think its in the carb or dist, why do you ask? He said cuz the RPM airgap and the crosswinds port runners are...
ok I called the factory direct, the 1.5 are good for #900 of spring psi, they have a lifetime warrenty, 12 point locking nut,
the Tq is 18 to 20 ftlbs.. and they are SS and bushed, the bad thing is they are made over seas.. that sucks........
My Machinist recomended that i get SS rockers, has anyone used them?
I am looking at these? These will be for street use.

Well as some of you know my SB stroker broke at an early age.. busted rocker arm adjusting screw which led to the push rod cup digging into the rocker arm sending metal into the oil the adjusting screw broke just under the lock nut ect.. any way I am taking it back to the shop for the owner to...
