The stupid is pretty much part of the point at this point. Atleast that's my outlook.

Cummins where you really shouldn't are always cool. I've always wanted to put a 12 valve somewhere dumb but I really can't justify it to myself.

Best way to fit a clutch fan in these things

Yeah, I'd rather use all the later stuff

Best way to fit a clutch fan in these things

On a small block in these early a bodies you don't have a lot of room for a fan. Is going with the old cast iron water pump required to make it work? I really rather use the later water pump if at all possible

Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

Low volume plastic trim pieces are where printing shines pretty Damn bright. You can't get a mold made to run 20 parts

Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

The blind 3d printer hate is weird. You can literally print in inconel. You can use damn near any material

Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

Yeah it's very good stuff that holds up better than plastic from the 60s. That's honestly not a very hard bar to hop over

Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

Working with 3D printing replacement early A-body parts

    Hood clearance with airgap intake

I got a small block with one of the knock off air gap intakes and a edlebrock carb. Things are looking awful tight. Anyone know of an air cleaner that'll fit? I'm hoping normal drop base stuff will be fine.

if i build a BUDGET 360.... LA Vs Magnum 5.9

360s are external balance and need their own fly wheels or flex plates. The magnum is different too. Motor mounts are the same. Intake bolts are different but plenty of good options that fit both.

    Don’t Convert to R134a

Well that ship has sailed long ago. Ain't no point in hunting down old r12. R134a keeps things cold I just have to use less of it than called for on what old systems called for on r12. Really the cost is the only factor for me. R134a goes up much more and I'm switching to propane
  27. DumpsterFire

    Don’t Convert to R134a

Yeah I'll use propane when the fools force me off r134a but until then nothing is wrong with r134a. The issue is the new stuff is also flammable
