Electric fan runs all the time

Quick question for those of you who run a Dakota Digital fan controller. If you disconnect the battery for whatever reason, do the settings for the controller need to be re-entered?

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

What a great ending. Good for you for being prepared and kudos to them for stepping up and realizing they were wrong. I'm sure a lot of it had to do with your respectful approach. Just goes to show that great manners still go a long way.

At least not on the hardtops. I'm unsure about the post cars. I just got done installing the weather strip on my 66 Dart ht.

It just slips over the pinch weld. Assuming this is for an early A, right - since it's in the early-A section?

    Fresh carnage!

I wonder how much oil gets sloshed around the front of an engine just by oil that escapes the front bearings and front of the oil pan.

    V.I.N. Rivets in door jamb

Just drill them out like any other rivet. Easy peezy. For the replacements, you can slide the rivet part off the rivet shank, softly chuck it in a drill, and touch it to some scotchbrite, followed up by some polish and a microfiber to give it some shine before popping them in place.

Are there ways to lighten it? Fabricated exhaust/intake come to mind. How else can the weight be shaved?

    Tf-727 Forward clutch drum

You can probably find a cheap good used one from someone who's upgraded to a billet drum. I know I have one in my parts bins somewhere from my 727 build. Put a wanted add up - I'm sure you'll have several responses pretty quickly.

    3.91s in my 340 now!

I love the 3.91's in my 340 '68 Dart. 4.10's would probably be better though since I run a 275/60/15 tire, but it's just a street cruiser. 340's love a short gear and a good converter, that's for sure.

INDY RHS-X LA heads……any rocker suggestions??

I use 1.6 PRW stainless rockers on my RHS heads, as recommended by Brian at IMM when he built the heads for me. They've worked great for almost 10 years - no problem. The rocker sweep is dead center and very thin. Cam is a HFT .561" lift with the 1.6's. Another option is to use the rockers you...

    Super Victor port matching

Shoot, I'd bet it's more like 90-95% or more. I wonder if that's the expectation of their customers? I always figured their customer base was building high-end, balls out type builds where a max ported intake resulted in a significant power increase.
