Hey guys...its certainly been awhile. Life got busy with getting married, car show, new job, and other things that I really didn't have time to be on. figured Id share a bit of the darts transformation.
THE END
First of all Id like to thank everyone that helped with my transmission issue.

IMO Unimatics are a good choice for learning shifting control. Their supposed to have a reverse lockout however that design was alittle flawed and unless you have everything adjusted 100% to the letter the lockout doesnt work properly. Also keep in mind if you get the Unimatic you need to have...
I have been collecting Hotwheels since I was 4 (19 years) Just recently picked up MOPAR ones though. Had 400+ of them until a combination of angry ex and unemployment hit.
Tbh unless you get a court appointed driver to run your car then a track test will never stand up in court. Your lucky you didnt get a failure to maintain vehicle ticket. You really want to waste even more money just to prove your car is a slug?..and even after all that Id bet youd still have to...
The price is way too high..but it has potential. Is it really any different than buying a completely totaled car to restore? Ive seen a lot worse go for higher. If you can talk him down do it. Let the guy know your not an idiot and hell either send you packin or come down on price.
lol way ahead of ya buddy..or at least I was until I painted the car. was told at alot of shows that my ratrod was cool...but it was just my old beater dart heh.
Ok so I changed the fluid again,,,today I checked it and its a mild pink color :D. Messed with the rad some more Finally got it to working properly. took the car for a drive and it stayed just below 190 but the overflow tank is still bubbling slightly. More air in the system??
lol...forced induction is wayyyyy beyond my knowledge of car related things. Ill just keep putting around in the little slant until it falls over dead....wouldn't that make it a horizontal slant then? Anyways I digress.. GL with the turbo thing 67
lol I was saying that more form an aesthetics point of view..but Id imagine that it took some skill placing the supercharger on there. Not to say that turbos are easy by any means to put on.
ah ok. I went with the B&M unimatic for mine. theres like 0 room for that shifter to fit in the tunnel without extensive mods. and B&M didnt mention in the sales ad that chrysler applications are recommended to use the 6ft cable.
ok..what was the drop on that shifter. I couldnt find the space to install mine through the floor so I had to make a shifter box for it. It has a 2 inch drop from bracket to the bottom of the lever
