If your going to send it out for paint leave the original k member in place. It will get hit with over spray and everything else while in paint jail. Ask me how I know.

I wish I had pictures of the install and might have the part number somewhere. I ended up selling them and used Shumachers. It was a 68 dart with six kmember. If I maybe used the thicker truck biscuit mounts I would of gained some more clearance. I would definitely call them and ask.
TTI shorties won’t work 383 or 400. They need the raised block to clear things including torsion bar pass side and manual steering box on drivers side. Expensive gamble on my part
I don’t have experience with it but I’ve seen one on a 68 dart. The bar was sticking out and hanging low for my liking. I have a picture but it’s not great. Just my opinion.
There was a website called classic colt. It had a wealth of information about those cars. Lots of suspension ideas. A heavier spring would help and a decent strut replacement. This wouldn't fix lug pattern though.
I have the similar column from summit in my car with flaming river u-joint and stock manual steering box. I mounted it to the dash using a universal mount from ididit and used the stock mount that goes through the firewall. I added a rubber grommet around the 2" end of the column as it passes...
