My garage is heated OK by one of these but in upstate NY it gets so cold my feet can't take it very long. The posion gasses are not something you want to work in day in and day out even if it doesn't seem to bother you too much.
Most likely OK if it doesn't get too cold. Here in NY my air compressor won't turn over in cold weather untill I run a propane torch on the cylinders otherwise it just pops breakers.
They make canvas sleeves which are not too much money and they will save lots of burns on you arms. I used a 90/10 mix CO2/argon which tends to cool better for filling gaps and keeps heat down from warping panels IMO.
