I have a B5 formula for my '69, but it's from a Camara shot. Not PPG though, I am a Dupont/Axalta guy. I have 2 B5 blue cars, they are both different. One is a '69, the other is a '72.

Have them take a Picture with their paint Camara computer, or what ever they call it. My match was almost perfect. They can also swing that color one way or the other.

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Had this same issue with my Sixpack, it was too much fuel pressure. Regulator cured that, 7.5 down to 5. Now I can get down to fine tuning. Not saying that all of the above isn't important, but this was my problem.

I have actually run cheap 10% alcohol regular gas in my 418 stroker. My compression is about where yours is. I richened it up some, it ran fine on it, but started a little hard. Went back to straight BP premium. You do not need race gas.

Why not not just stay with a 2-speed motor? It's really all that's needed. Hell, I have never used the wipers on any of my 3 cars.

Not sure about that harness, pictures? You should have an other problem, the wiper linkage that attaches to the motor is different between the 2 speed, 3 speed and variable motors.

I pulled the engine out of my '78 Good Times van. The front radiator support unbolts, had to remove the intake manifold and stick the cherry picker right down in the valley. Not real difficult, just use your head, take your time. Not sure about taking it out through the cargo door.
