My plans for my 69 Dart Swinger 340

Several ppl on this forum have done the electric steering conversion. The electric assist is hidden up under the dash and it retains the stock manual steering look under the hood.

I can agree the rules are there for a reason.... But Either install a 20,000 gallon tank or make a donation sounds an awful lot like a gangster style "protection" racket.... JMHO

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Funny thing about windows, and lord knows you got a bunch! When Jodi was designing the house I was explaining to her I could not defend her design, as she simply had to many windows. At that point she explained to me in no uncertain terms she was not going to live in a house with gun slots and...

PTFE For Fuel Line - Conductive vs Non-conductive

Maybe it is but with the possibility of spark near a fuel source, why mess around with it? There are other areas one can cheap out but fuel and brakes are not where I'd play roulette.

Changing crankshaft bearings with the engine in the car.

In my opinion, you will spend much more time and energy trying to change the bearings with the engine "in" the car. Pulling the engine isn't "that" hard and besides, once the engine is out and on a stand it's "much" easier to look it over to see if there are any other problems.

PTFE For Fuel Line - Conductive vs Non-conductive

Based on that article above, conductive is the way to go for fuel lines since it allows a path of discharge for any buildup of static electricity.

Speaking of new trucks @WV64Signet whats the POD?
  30. V

    360 Questions.. pardon my ignorance.

Most trucks I've seen didn't have that osac thing. Mostly cars over about 2-3 years in the mid 70s. It was gray/black, sometimes on the air filter housing sometimes on the firewall and the VA line went from carb to it, then to the VA. Best thing to do if there is one would be to run a VAC line...
