    OEM Muffler Dart Swinger 340

The only difference I see is in the width. Either 8.8 or 9.7" wide, the length is correct. I'll have to check wihich size is under there now. Price is more affordable than Accurate Exhaust so that helps. Thanks. That is really clean and looks good. Thanks for the part numbers.

    OEM Muffler Dart Swinger 340

Length 18", inlet / outlet both 2 !/4" looks Accurate is the choice. Price is about $80 more than the Maremonts in the late 70's. Thanks.

    OEM Muffler Dart Swinger 340

I've had Maremont mufflers on it since the late 70's when I pulled the Hookers off and went back to full exhaust. In fact its still muffler clamps on all the connections (still have boxes of them) thats how old it is. The driver side one needs attention. I can try JB Weld paste but that won't...

Another Facebook Scammer "Mopar Marketplace" forum

From a few months back. I contacted the real B & R Wrecking and confirmed they have a yard in Graham WA but not that one. Also they had no 1964 Didge Dart in the company inventory. Also they will take credit cards and e-checks, PayPal but no Apple Pay. I was leary when the ad responded back...

    Carb Advice

It stalls out when I spray the secondary shaft and the rpm drops when I spray thethrottle shaft area.

    Carb Advice

There is play in the secondary shaft, more than the throttle shaft rod. Today I sprayed some carb cleaner at the seconday shaft and the motor stalled out. I repeated it on the throttle shaft area and the motor rpm reduced and would have also stalled had I kept spraying. This sound like I...

    Carb Advice

Age wise its close to 20+ years old. Back in 20146 I used Sunoco 94 mixed with Cam II and stored it w/o starting it for about 4 months. That was the first time I had the carb rebuilt by a corner garage guy who claimed he knew how to rebuild them. I knew ethenol damaged the rubber but he only...

    Carb Advice

It was just a brief slight trickle I did. Not like some of the guys on tv who pour gas in while cranking it. The car did eventually start with some starting fluid. So it will run.

    Carb Advice

I have a 1970 Dart Swinger 340 that I'm trying to get back on the road for cruise-ins. Have the car 54 years, know it inside and out. Has not be on the street since about 2008. Age and health issues are limiting the work on I can do to get it ready. Found that when I trickle some fuel down...

    MoPar A bodies in Peril

The black '68 GTS would work for my parts list. The rear wheels and air cleaner would be a good start for me. Only one state away.

    Mopar Rally Caps

UPDATE: I'll still be looking for two 14" 5.5 small bolt rallys for my Dart. Seems the lister may be a scam business. They don't take credit cards only Zelle, Apple Pay or PayPal, for instant payment. Claims they are not set-up for cards. I checked with the actual business name used and...

    Mopar Rally Caps

Acorn style was the name I couldn't remember. Wheels are 14" small bolt on a '64 Dart out west. Having the wheels shipped but will need to swap out the Acorns for the Dark Argent small bolt centers that are still sold. Thanks.

    Mopar Rally Caps

I'm not familiar with these center caps. I'm almost certain I can swap them out for the Dark Argent Center Caps once they arrive. Anybody seen this type on any Mopars at any cruises? Wheels are not aftermarket, standard 14" 5.5" wide.

New here with carb / stalling issues

Awhile back I tried to adjust the Idle Mixture Screws by sound (didn't use a vacuum guage) and noticed there was no change from the driver side adjusting screw, the other side did change. I'm thinking even after the first rebuild (I didn't do it) that it did not remove all the ethenol residue...

New here with carb / stalling issues

Actually the carb is the old Holley 0-80454 600cfm, and was rebuilt once. The other issue was I stored the vehicle with Cam2 and a mix of unleaded gas (with ethenol) and just sat thru the winter months. Even on a rebuild I guess you can't repair the damage ethenol does to rubber. I will check...

New here with carb / stalling issues

The car gets a steady mix of Sunoco Standard 110 (the valves are original so I need some lead) and Pure Gas (no ethenol) on a 1:1 mix. Summit Racing actually clued me in on that solution when the Real Lead additive out of Texas was pulled by the EPA. Sunoco is 110 octane and the Pure Gas @ 90...

New here with carb / stalling issues

Been a few years due to health issues my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 A727 has been on the road. No work done on it except for periodic start ups over the years. Had the car since new and I always had the skills to fix any problems. Age has set in and can't figure a few issues out. Old school...
