    If I remember right the magnums made 1-2 hp over 340 and the 340/5.9 combo made like 1-2 hp over that. I'm pretty sure was done by one of the mopar magazines but been unable to find it.

    ...they routed the oil drain / return bung for a turbo setup I plan on putting the turbo near the valve cover on the passenger side. Leaning towards using reversed Magnum manifolds.     I recently did the same with my 74 D200, 360 la with Magnum heads. I got the same kind of results as you did. Old truck still runs pretty good, I think it has to do with surface of exh manifolds.

There are also some newer 318, 360 manifolds that are 1 7/8", then there are the newer 360 magnum manifolds some of which are 2 3/16". So the demand for the larger pipes for 340 manifolds isn't a big as you would think???
