im going with the 318 build up, that was in the mopar muscle magazine, cuz they use later 318/360 heavy-duty rods, but these rods are pressed pin. i was going to go with keith blacks (PN 167) piston. so which are better floating pins, or pressed pins? will these pistons work with floating pins...

ever think about selling one of these cranks to a fellow mopar fan ahaha? i think im goingto go with rod that was used in 73 and up 318's and 360's, will they work with one of those cranks? and idea where i could get these rods ahah?

yes i did acctually, and they are fine. i have the motor mounts that have the bolt going right down the middle holding its all together, if that helps any ill try to describe it more if u need me too

really? i found a "741" case no posi with 3.91 gears in it. But yea i know its the weakest, its the only small pinion one, i want to find a "742", but it would be alot easyier to find a "489".

see the 318 that is in my car now runs awesome, really quiet too, the only thing is it rocks back, not so much as it did before i changed the leaf springs, and i have no idea why it does this. even my dads friend who is a chevy guy said he has never heard a dodge start and run this good he could...

no problem, i read the forum about that build up and the one they had in "hotrod magazine", and by the sounds of it they dont sound like very healthy build ups.

the 400hp 318 build i was refering to was the one they did in the "mopar muscel magazine".

that white chevelle in the pic above used to sit higher then my car. heres a side view, and the driveway my car is on is slanted downward and it would also help if i could take a straight picture lol, i think both of them are crooked lol
