I took my car for a drive today, and once I hit the 2,000 RPM mark, the tranny shifted itself into neutral what it seemed like anyway. Because all it did was sit there and rev, until the RPM's when back down to under 2k. It also did it, going up any hill, steep or not, even under 2,000 RPMs...

That's what I figured. When I bought the car, the owner told me it had the Turbo Action Cheetah in it, but a few weeks after buying it, I left the shifter in 3rd(or drive) and it shifted by itself, I didn't know if the valve body had gone bad or not. I've got a 750CFM Holley Double Pumper Carb. with a Proform Mainbody, will the bracket(#SRK-4000) and Kickdown(#KD-2727HT) work with that mainbody on my carb.?

I used to run a B&M Gate Shifter in my '70 Duster. It worked excellent at the track, but not so much on the street. I upgraded to the Cheetah, after getting eveyone's opinion on it. I don't think I'd ever use anything else personally. I do REALLY like the looks of that Winters Shifter though.

You're correct. It's a custom built 318. Basically it is a 340, but with a 318 block. It generates about 425 HP as well, not bad for a daily driver, $20k plus, has been put into her so far.

Oh yeah, I like it as well. Before I had my valves adjusted, its idle in neutral and gear RPMs were both in the 900-800 range. The mechanic decided to screw around with the carb. afterwords and now I've got the 1,200-1,000 RPM idle in neutral. The idle in gear hasn't changed.

Forgot to mention, I've got an Eldelbrock Air-Gap intake, with a Holley 750 CFM double pump carb, with a proform main body.
