DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

Denny's mounts allow for adjustment, I don't recall how much. Maybe an inch. I initially had them on the engine so it would be as far back as possible. That proved to be too far back for me. I have my main engine harness connector on the firewall and it was just too close to work. It also put...

[SOLD] Nos (aftermarket) slant 6 distributor cap

Parts like this are fun reminders that before there were Chinese fakes, complete with ripped-off trademarks and logos and package design and stuff… …there were American ones.

Yes that’s right. There were some 383 and 440 that had them too. They didn’t have to be Abody

    Diagnostic tach and mixture gauge

The Craftsman engine analyzer kit hasn't done me wrong yet. Plus I kind of enjoy how it's a bit vintage. Mine came with a timing light and remote starter as well.

agreed, cut it straight first and see what's under there. if doesn't ' need' to be cut out why do it. that bit can still be bolted down though. on my 68 i found the tunnel wasn't spot welded to the crossmember on the section to be cut out. almost like ma mopar knew we'd be cutting it out for a 4...

    ~450hp from stock stroke 340?

How big of a cam are you willing to tolerate in a street car? Everyone has a different threshold. In my opinion, drive-ability should come first for a street car. As such, I always err on the smaller side when it comes to a cam and I've never been disappointed. It's always a give and take.

[WANTED] 69 big block valve covers stock

A-body? The A-body drivers side is different than the B-body and has guides for a spark plug wire because of the manifold outlet.

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

My plan is to cut straight, being careful not to cut the crossmember. Then tack the dogleg down to the floor pan. On the shifter side, I will leave the floor pan metal on top of the crossmember to strengthen it and also keep crud out. The factory did it that way, so it's good enough for me. :)

Slant 6 engine ignition timing stays retarded.

Turn distributor upside down so the drive pinion is pointing toward you. Notice how the distributor hold-down plate is held to the underside of the distributor body with a bolt. Notice how that bolt goes through a slot rather than a round hole. There you are. Also, if you're getting significant...

    Anti Freeze question

Maker's site is here, and they have a find-local-dealer page. Or you can just buy it where everything else comes from these days. The prep fluid is alcohol, so if you have a cheaper source of gallon jugs of alcohol, gopher it.
