I put in the Petronics electronic point kit in my car, now I have trouble timing it. My friend suggested I may need a hotter coil. I got it somewhat near where its supposed to be , but still 8 degrees off. Does these electronics change the timing, may go back to points, thanks in advance,Jim.

Well I put my new intake/exhaust gaskets on , and took for a shake down cruise, when I came back, seen the exhaust manifold had cracked. I torqued to specs(10 lbs), don't know what happened. Anyway I'm looking to buy an aftermarket manifold. I see A1 auto has one for around a hundred bucks...

There is 3 small ports on my 63 slant 6, one goes to the dist, one is on the back of the choke , the other is on the valve cover side, do these loop? , if not where do they go, thanks Jim.

As recommended on the forum I 'm using remflex gaskets. The gaskets also came with the square one with the 3 bolt holes , that go between the the mainifolds. It looks like the original metal one has some kind of heat deflector on it, the one from remflex is just a gasket, although a good one...
