    816/360 Magnum Guys FYI......

No machining needed for the seals, they went on firmly basically by hand but I did tap them down lightly to make sure they seated. They are the blue ones with the little spring rings. The stem locks stick down below the retainers a little, just so you know. .512 lift

Baxter oil adapter on a pentastar v6

ok, help me understand this...why not ? i got valves in my tires that hold 75 PSI of air in, why wouldnt a similar valve work to keep 15 psi of oil in? (figuring atmospheric pressure is 1 bar, is 14.5 psi) im not trying to be obstinate, im just trying to understand it

We built a 2” lift for buddy’s daughter after the springs sagged for the 2nd time. She put 4x4 decals on the rear 1/4’s. Some people actually believed it was 4wd

    Hood scoop to big?

That scoop will do ZERO for power. It also won't cost any power. I don't know how Chrylser figured that scoop was a drag. That thing is too low and too far back to catch any air. WJ was promoting the "mail box" nonsense while he was whining for EFI. He was wrong about the scoops. When...

That’s not a thing. It has been discussed, but for now, there is no exit tax.

    Hood scoop to big?

Yes, that’s what I was asking. Is it too big? Is it going to hurt my performance is what I was getting at. If it does not make that much of a difference and I won’t have to be tuning my carburetor to get it to run right then I’ll run it.

    ~450hp from stock stroke 340?

I’m going to start this post out by saying myself personally I would never run a hydraulic roller cam. But some guys are doing so successfully and going fast doing so. My buddy’s son has an app 3200 pound duster and runs 6.60’s-6.70’s with his 408. He punishes this engine double entering and...

I'm thrilled I got this hood for my Dart...

years ago when trying to sell a scooped hood, most people just wanted the scoops to put on their own hood. i guess unless its a trur factory cut out hood is just easier to buy and transport just the scoops...

    ~450hp from stock stroke 340?

This is the part that always get me with threads like this. You want 450 HP or more from a stoke stroke crankshaft, but it's street car, so drivability is a must. That requires at least 1.32 HP per cubic inch, and while achieving that is possible, it's not going to have street manners. I...

IS BLUE LOCTITE OK FOR CONVERTOR AND FLEXPLATE BOLTS?

Clean and dry the threads first. Brake cleaner. You use a drop or 2, don't soak all the threads.

    Milling an intake manifold.

If you have your intake cut, be sure to check the gap between the block and the ends of the manifold. Sometimes the manifold ends have to be cut down also so they don't butt and hold the manifold away from the head. Had this happen just this week on a motor that I was supposed to dyno. Big...

Not sure who posted it or how long ago but a member on here posted flow numbers of various cylinder heads for various lift as he tested them on a flow meter and I used the flow number for X heads at around .400-.500 lift as I have .484 lift. It can be found with search function, that’s how I...

    Hood scoop to big?

Just because his car and most cars of that era are shaped like a brick doesn’t mean it can’t be made worse and that scoop will. It’s kind of like rubbing salt in a wound after you already rubbed dirt in it, just my opinion. And that’s what he is looking for, opinions.
