The '65 has cable linkage, the '66 has mechanical linkage. Two completely different transmissions and linkages, not much of anything interchanges that will be of use to you. Best bet for you would be to get a '66 steering column and shift linkage and swap that in, or an aftermarket floor...

66 Barracuda Looking for plastic interior rear window trim af bottom of window and the body. Two pieces of trim were the top of the window and body near the two interior lights. Also two plastic covers on the wheel well on the chrome latches for the folding rear seat.

I have a 66 Barracuda AC dash in my 65 Dart wagon. Those 2 bolts are the only fasteners that hold the 65/66 vent in place. I can get the distance between the 2 bolts but likely will be several days before I can do it

The 65 buckets I have do have the floor brackets but don’t anticipate separating them from the seats. I will comment that the floor brackets on my passenger 66 Barracuda seat I have in my wagon as well as some from my 67 Charger buckets look to be identical to those for the 65.

Agreed, but, many people have used the 1073 in that socket (along with other models like my '66 Barracuda lower taillight) and had lens melting issues. My point was, if you can't find the 1095 bulb, don't just plug a 1073 in it's place. Use something shorter and/or less candlepower/wattage until...

I've got a couple of factory rear defogger option kits for a '66 Barracuda. Another I got out of a '65, so, not sure how early they started. Anyone else with a '64-6 Barracuda (or any other '66 and earlier A-body) with rear defog? Seems to be a fairly rare option back then.....at least around...

FWIW I just broke one in with a solid fan on it. It barely got above thermostat temperature. You might not get airflow like that with a clutched fan and the car not going down the road.
