    RC Cars

Once you identify which truck it is and the scale, which appears to be 1/10, which is the most common, you can grab any body in the scale. There are body mount posts that you can change the height of if needed. Www.towerhobbies.com and www.amainhobbies.com are good online hobby shops if you...

oil pan for 440 in a 1968 Dart

I used the Hemi pan from 440Source in my Duster, it required 73+ steering, and some persuading with a BFH to clear the idler arm.

    Gears

Didn't roadkill garage switch the crop duster gears from 4.10 to 3.23 and it still ran the same ET and MPH?

    Ram towing mileage

That's a good point, I believe the Hemi was designed around 89 octane, how many people actually run that? I used to when I towed, but I tow so often that I was spending a fortune on migrade now that's it's $1 a gallon more than regular, so I went back to regular.

    Ram towing mileage

I would tend to agree with you, however, I do not know what gear is considered OD in the 8 speed? Is it all of them with an OD ratio, or is it just 8, or does tow haul prevent the torque converter from locking up? I place mine (5.7/8speed/3.23) in tow haul mode, it definitely holds the shifts...

    Ram towing mileage

I've thought about headers a few times for mine. I think the cheapest ones are about a grand for shorties. It only takes about 90 minutes per side to do the manifolds now, and the bolts are free with the lifetime warranty, so I pick a weekend and spend the 3 hours swapping out both sides...

    Ram towing mileage

I don't think you are too far off. I have a 2015 Laramie crew cab, since new I only manage to get 15-17mpg empty with a mix of city and highway driving. Pulling my Jeep on an open trailer (maybe 6000 lbs) I would get 11-12, towing a 4500lb travel trailer I would get 10, amd with my current...

    CVF Serpentine on a 440?

I don't have experience with their serpentine setup, but when I ordered their v belt kit, the crank pulley that came in the kit was tiny. I had to order a different larger one separately, which cost more than I expected. Double check the pulley diameters before ordering.

Looks like I get a $100 gift card to the parts store, and a gift box from Meguires worth about $250 and a page in the calendar. Not bad for a free entry!

    Finally got some new tires

I think I might try a 225/something as my next tire, just to get a little more rubber. It's easy enough to crank the torsion bars slightly if I need a little more height. So far they seem pretty good, they are a little less grippy than the ET Street SS I had before, but they look like they...

    Finally got some new tires

I spent some time looking for options on a 28x12 and ended up going with a Nitto 555R since they were about $75 less than the Mickey ET Streets in the same size. I was hoping to go more of a street tire, but I'm limited by the size of the wheel (17x11), but the Nittos appear less aggressive...
